What make Yacbar boats so different from other fiberglass boats?

​

First of all, Yacbar do not use wood or plywood unter the fiberglass surfice to stabilize the hull. Wood or even plywood start rotten after some years of use. Which is very trickie, because it is invisible dammage for the owner. 

​

Yacbar boats are rigid and stable withouut use wood. The only part is made of a kind of wood, is a small peace of a wooden based material in the back of the boat. But even this little segment is made out of Marine plywood. So it is also resistent against rottn, because of use of Phenol 

​

Another aspect of Yacbar boats is the method of produce boats. Usually a plywood boat is made in a moul. So because of this, any boat is a 100% copy of the moul design.

This create different problems:

Standard boats are shaped in a design is a compromise between a Hull design for lakes and rivers with a flat bottom design and a hull design for coastal waters use a V bottom.

Finally the standard boats are always a kind of a compromise. The clients use boats usually on rivers and lakes, pay extra money for a moderate V hull, clients drie mostly in rough coastal waters will missing te advantage of a agressive V hull design.

 

In many cases you cant choose between different length or beam of a standard boat.

Yacbar use a method is well known  from the German Car industry: The modular system of building a machine is costumized. 

​

Yacbar did vcreate a prototype design. Based on this prototype design, yacbar can offer this boat in different lengths and beams but also different angles for the V shape hulls. 

​

In other words: You can order your individual boat, based on a beam start at 1,25 meters and end in a beam of 2,25 meters. Same as well you can order any kind of lengths between 4 and 5,5 meters. 

 

So by example yu can order your boat in a beam of 1,25 meters and a length of 5,5 meters, or with a beamof 2,25 meters and a length of only 4 meters. Any other combination of length and beam i also possible. 

 

You need a agressiv dep V hull? No problem! You need a semi flat bottom boat for lakes andd lagoons to have maximal payload? No Problem for Yacbar fun SARL!

This modular system is a big advantage for me at my position as a dealer. Because I can offer my clients boats in many sizes and prices. This flexibility in sizes and prices give me a strong position inside the sales markets and make my clients happy boat owners:

Use it for tourist trips on the lagoons with semi flat bottom and a high beam of 2 meters for maxium of stability on the water.  and a length of 5,5 meters and a 15 HP or 25 hp long or  short shaft engine  for good passenger capacity.

Use it as a coastal speed boat with a deep V Hull and a beam of only 1,6 meters and a length of 5

meters by use a 85 hp 3 Cylinder engine long shaft.

use it as a cheap and easy to drive rental boat in length of 4,2 meters and a beam of 1,6 meters, use smaller outboard engines with 5 horsepower.

Or simply use it as a cheap and lable inshore fishing and multi purpose boat is 4 meters long and a  1,25 wide by use a cheap 4 or 8 HP short shaft engine.
